Located on the Golden Bauhinia Square in front of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre New Wing, Ever-Blooming Bauhinia is a gift to Hong Kong SAR Government from the Central People's Government to celebrate Hong Kong's return to China on July 1, 1997. The Ever-Blooming Bauhinia was carved based on the shape of a budding bauhinia symbolizing Hong Kong. The sculpture symbolizes the ever-prosperity of Hong Kong.
