Delegation of Hungarian Tourism Agency at WEM’s Cloud Hall

On March 3, 2018, a Hungarian tourism delegation, including Ms. Csenge Papp, Director of World Expositions, diplomats of the Hungarian Consulate General in Shanghai and Hungarian horticultural designers, visited the World Expo Museum (WEM) in Shanghai. They met with Ms. Liu Xiuhua, director of WEM, to discuss the future of cooperation with WEM.

All the visitors were generously impressed by the collections of WEM and especially the 4D movie Amazing Adventure at EXPO. They also showed up at the major spaces of WEM like the multi-function room, the temporary halls and the cloud hall.

At the official meeting, Ms. Papp talked about Hungary’s preparations for participation in Horti-Expo 2019 Beijing. She said Hungary would be pleased to contribute historical records of Hungary’s participation in the past world expos to WEM. Director Liu Xiuhua described the goals of WEM and the key international cooperation projects scheduled for 2018. Both sides also discussed future exchanges on world expo themes and the possibility of a partnership to promote Hungary in China as a tourist destination.
